SOURCE-OF-FUNDS REPORTS
Korean fund records.
A traceable report.
For US immigration attorneys and EB-5 regional centers working with EB-5 or E-2 investors whose funds come from Korea.
EB-5 report from USD 900E-2 report from USD 600
Your total is confirmed in writing before we start.
A document-based tracing report. It does not give a legal opinion on eligibility or the lawfulness of funds and does not guarantee any immigration outcome.

No calls. Instructions and updates are handled by email. We group requests for missing evidence and agree the delivery schedule after reviewing the available records.
Connect the source to the investment.
- A fund-flow table linking each agreed source to the investment account.
- Reconciliation of amounts, dates, transfers and relevant currency conversions.
- An early list of missing documents and unresolved differences.
- An English report reviewed and signed by a Korean CPA within the agreed engagement.
- English summaries of relevant Korean income, property, gift and loan records. Any certified translation requirement is agreed with your case team.
A fixed quote for your records.

We confirm the fee and delivery schedule after reviewing the document list. Missing evidence and additional sources are scoped before work begins.
For attorneys and regional centers
One intake email per client. With the client’s authorization, we can request Korean records directly and share the agreed progress with you. We agree the recipients and secure transfer method before sharing financial records.
We provide Korean accounting evidence, not US immigration legal advice. EB-5 and E-2 have different legal requirements. Your immigration counsel decides how the report fits the case; a CPA report is not a substitute for source documents or a guarantee of approval. It is a document-based tracing report: it does not give a legal opinion on eligibility or the lawfulness of funds and does not guarantee any immigration outcome.

Three ways to get it done
| What differs | Do it yourself | A typical agency | Simple Hong |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calls and meetings | None; you gather and explain the records yourself | Usually an introductory call or video meeting | None. Email only, so every answer stays in writing |
| Preparing documents | You decide which Korean records explain each source | Usually requested by the firm as the work proceeds | An early list of missing documents; follow-up questions grouped in writing |
| How the fee is set | No professional fee; the time is your own | Usually set after a consultation; the basis varies by firm | A fixed fee confirmed after document review, in writing before work starts; any applicable tax shown separately |
| How you stay in touch | Your own research, and the tax office where needed | Usually phone, video calls and email | Email: hello@gandanhong.com |
| What you receive | Your own explanation of the records for your attorney | Usually a report in the firm’s own format | An English report reviewed and signed by a Korean CPA, with a fund-flow table from each source to the investment account |
The middle column describes a common approach; practice varies from firm to firm.
How our fees work
How do you keep fees reasonable?
We work by email, using clear document lists and a defined scope to reduce repeated requests, manual re-entry and meeting coordination. A lean operation keeps overheads down.
AI and automation assist with organizing information and routine cross-checks. The CPA reviews the source-of-funds evidence and final report; immigration legal advice remains with your immigration lawyer.
Required checks are agreed for the work involved. Your written quote sets out the scope and any additional fees before work begins.
How is the engagement agreed, and when do we pay?
Work starts after you reply “I agree” to our engagement email or return a signed engagement letter. Each fee is invoiced when the related deliverable is sent, such as a return copy, submission confirmation, report or summary, and is paid by international wire transfer to the account on the invoice.
If we cannot complete the agreed work for reasons on our side, we do not charge for it and refund what you paid for it. If you stop midway, you pay only for the work completed.
What is not included in the fee?
Our fees are professional fees only. Korean taxes due to the National Tax Service, penalties and third-party charges, such as certified translation, are separate, and any applicable tax on our fee is shown separately in the written quote.
If further work is needed, we state its scope and fee before starting and go ahead only with your agreement.
